What width options are available?

Our greige fabric is available in widths ranging from 160cm to 330cm, which yields finished fabric widths of 150cm to 315cm after processing. The slight reduction accounts for shrinkage during dyeing, printing, and other finishing treatments, typically between 2% and 5% depending on the process.
For bedding applications, wider fabrics are generally preferred because they allow seamless construction. A 280cm or 315cm width accommodates king-size duvet covers and sheets without the need for center seams, which improves both appearance and durability. Queen-size bedding typically works well with 240cm fabric, while twin and single sizes can use narrower 150cm to 180cm widths.
Curtain applications have different considerations. Standard window treatments work well with 150cm to 180cm widths, while large windows and floor-to-ceiling installations benefit from 200cm to 280cm fabric that can be cut to length without horizontal seaming. For upholstery projects, width selection depends on the furniture piece—chairs typically need only 150cm, sofas work well with 180cm to 200cm, and large sectionals may require 240cm or wider.
Greige fabric weights correlate with width, ranging from 55 to 80 GSM for 160cm fabric up to 85 to 120 GSM for our widest 330cm option. Finished fabric weights vary more dramatically based on treatment, from 60 GSM for light finishes up to 280 GSM for heavily coated or backed materials.
For orders of 10,000 meters or more, we can produce custom widths outside our standard range. Custom width development typically requires 25 to 35 days lead time. Keep in mind that usable width is typically 5 to 10cm less than the stated width due to selvedge edges, and wider fabrics may show slight weight variation across the width—both normal characteristics of woven textiles.
